Welcome to 167 Counseling Services, PLLC. We provide compassionate and competent mental health counseling services to Illinois residents. Our licensed therapists offer evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. We also offer telehealth services for your convenience. Meet The Team
Michael Liacone
LCPC,CCTP-II,BC-TMH
Michael Liacone, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. He received his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Governors State University. He brings with him a diverse history including many years of experience as a firefighter/paramedic. In addition, Michael has over a decade of experience teaching at the college level.

Mike’s theoretical approach includes elements of cognitive-behavioral and rational-emotive behavioral therapies with a strong emphasis on mindfulness meditation. His experience allows him to connect with first responders, veterans, students, couples, and individuals through trauma-informed care. He has experience working in an in-patient behavioral health facility, community mental health, and mental health counseling with students in a higher education setting.

Jennifer Liacone
LCPC
(JLL Counseling, PLLC)
Jennifer Liacone, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University. Jennifer has over 8 years of experience in the field, working with diverse populations. She has experience working as a sexual assault counselor and outpatient intake/assessment specialist in a community mental health setting.

Jennifer’s theoretical approach utilizes concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help people manage symptoms and overcome obstacles to recovery. Jennifer will assist clients to gain self-awareness and insight into how to manage daily stressors. She believes that with an open mindset, people can change their negative thinking patterns and live a happier, healthier life.
